Aquarium Cap Blanc Overview

The Aquarium Cap Blanc provides a unique opportunity to observe a selection of the Mediterranean’s sea life in its natural environment. Located on the outskirts of San Antonio close to Cala Gració, what was once an old smugglers’ cave is now the home of lobster, moray eel, octopus, skate and turtle to name but a few. This natural underwater cave is a huge favourite amongst children, presenting them with the chance to see such fascinating sea species close up from the wooden walkways above.

Also commonly referred to as Cova de ses Llegostes (Cave of the lobsters), the aquarium is supported by the local councils who provide rehabilitation for injured sea species. As such, it is not unusual to come across sea animals that are recovering in the centre before being released back into their natural habitat. The Aquarium Cap Blanc is open 10:00 to 22:00 during the summer and from 10:00 until sunset throughout the winter. Entry is €3.

An amazing place to go....

This isnt just an aqarium, its also a really relaxing bar and there is a walkway where you can jump off into the sea! Me and my friend went there every afternoon and watched the sun set. It is an amazing place. The aquarium is really facinating but once you have sat down in the sun with a drink in your hand you wont want to leave. Theres a bit of a trek to get the place but its worth it!
