Your Ibiza Local Expert:
Jimmy and Jamie moved out to Ibiza in early 2009 and have been living in San Antonio ever since. The business opportunity within myDestinationinfo brought them out, but island life couldn’t suit them better, with the warm weather and siesta time being particularly favoured! Although they already hold an extensive knowledge of the white isle from their previous times out there, the guys are forever exploring further to try and bring you the most complete travel guide to Ibiza.
Jimmy and Jamie met while studying Business Management and Mechanical Engineering respectively at Newcastle University, UK. After graduating in 2008, they both moved away from Newcastle to take up jobs elsewhere, but soon found themselves wanting for a more exciting challenge.
Having attended the same school as myDestinationinfo founder James Street, Jimmy had long been interested in the company and the possibility of taking ownership of a site himself. After several discussions with James Street, the decision was made to take on myIbizainfo, with Jimmy having been so fond of the island from his previous visits. The myDestinationinfo team thought that an Ibiza site would be a valuable addition to the company’s portfolio, recognising a gap in the market, with rival sites seemingly outdated and lacking in comprehensive content. Jimmy took the idea to Jamie and rest is, as they say, history!
